To compose this piece there were steps i had to take to put it together. First i took the pictures of me by setting up my camera on a tripod and focusing it on me against a plain wall. I took the different shots i needed. Because we live i neither the country nor busy city i had to get the background photos from the internet. I put the two backgrounds together and adjusted their colour, contrast, and brightness. Once all my photos were up in photoshop i cut out the faces of the three picture of me. I atached all the faces together then posterized them all to add effect.
The shoot was easy because it was me and the camera. At first i was planning on putting hands reaching up in the left bottum corner. After putting what i have together, it already looked very busy because of the backgrounds that i chose so i ended up leaving it the way it is now.
My Idea for this picture and what i hope others to see when they look at this is idea that where we live, in our city, everything is always rushed and somebody always wants a piece of you. It is a stressful, overwhelming place to live which is why that face is on the left side of the girl. With nature we can find beauty, peace and happiness. The simpler things in life are what will satisfy us the most in the end. Everyone has their own opinion and view of what they take from the photo.
